Well Wayne Stations
Well Wayne Stations are public health devices placed throughout Wayne County. They contain free naloxone (Narcan) and drug checking supplies (such as fentanyl test strips and xylazine test strips).
There are two different types of Well Wayne Stations: vending machines and newsstands. You may see them at your local library, convenience store, or a variety of different locations throughout the community.
We’ve worked to make Well Wayne Stations accessible and easy to use. Ready to retrieve an item? Follow these four steps to get supplies.
- Choose your product. Well Wayne Stations contain free naloxone (Narcan), fentanyl test strips, and xylazine test strips. Note: You can only make one selection at a time.
- Enter product code. The code is located on a white sticker below the product on the left-hand side. Enter the code on the keypad on the right side of the vending machine.
- Retrieve your item. Once you enter the product code, the product will be dispensed into the bottom of the machine. Push the door open to get your item.
- Repeat this process to retrieve additional items.
